15 November: Writing Work Day with Conferences

Objective:

I can synthesize ideas from multiple texts and explain how the texts may convey different perspectives on a common theme or idea in my writing (RI/RL 2).

Entry Task:

As you come into class, grab your binder and prepare to play a round of Blooket to study our new vocabulary list.

What’s Going On:

Today is yours to continue your writing assessment. You will be polishing your work by typing it in the posted Google Classroom assignment. Today’s focus should be on finalizing your introduction and developing your body section.

While you are working today, I will be calling some of you back for a progress conference. You may also request a conference with me because I will not be here to meet with you during tomorrow’s work day.

Find a good pausing point and spend some time cleaning up around you.
